I recently came across Alex Winston via Spin.com’s article the “Five Best New Artists For March.” What caught my attention is the fact that Alex is a trained opera singer who performs her own quirky indie pop. ”Sister Wife” is so damn catchy that it borders on a guilty pleasure (think Avril Lavigne’s “Boyfriend.” Hey, maybe that’s just me). I’m 96% sure that once you listen to this song it will get stuck in your head. This track is off her EP of the same name and I highly suggest you purchase it if you like what you hear.
A new anthem for all the hipster Mormon wives out there? Quite possibly.
